Kindergarten Celebrates Pizza Day

Our kindergarten class had a slice of fun during their special Pizza Day celebration! The day was filled with creativity and fun filled centers!

Students began by making their own pizza crafts using paper plates, construction paper, and plenty of “toppings.” They carefully cut out pepperoni, mushrooms, and green peppers while practicing fine motor skills and following step-by-step directions. The classroom quickly turned into a colorful pizzeria display! Next, the children participated in pizza-themed games to help reinforce math, reading, and teamwork skills in a fun and engaging way.

The highlight of the day was a visit to MSA Kitchen, where students learned how to make their own mini pizzas with Mr. Chris. They spread sauce, sprinkled cheese, and chose their favorite toppings before watching their creations bake. It was a wonderful opportunity to explore basic cooking skills, practice following instructions, and learn about kitchen safety.

Pizza Day was a delicious success and a memorable way for our kindergarteners to learn, create, and celebrate together!
